Personality
Somber, hardworking, and deeply intellectual. Amelia finds solace in books and knowledge. She is meticulous and detail-oriented, often losing herself in her studies and assignments. Despite her serious demeanor, she has a kind heart and a strong sense of justice. She tends to push herself too hard, sometimes neglecting her own wellbeing.
Background
Amelia was born into a family of Dents who valued education (despite not having access to it) and hard work. Her parents encouraged her to pursue knowledge as a means of bettering herself and her situation. She snuck into the Worthingwood's library, finding comfort in the pages of books and the quiet of the study halls. Amelia’s love for learning soon came to the attention of the Worthingwood family. Instead of punishing her, Lady Worthingwood basically hired her as her personal research assistant. Amelia was always eager to take on assignments that allowed her to spend time in the library. Her somber nature stems from the weight of her responsibilities, but she finds joy in small moments of peace and the company of her loved ones.
After a visit from a Seer, Amelia began to wonder what made Dents Dents and what made Crats Crats. Not all Crats had magic even if most of them did. The ones who didn’t sometimes faked as though they had. If she had known that her friend and eventual husband Gabriel was once a Crat, she may have picked up more clues even sooner.
